Coolant Change Intervals

Coolants should be changed every two years because the corrosion inhibitors they contain, deplete and become ineffective. The resulting circulating corrosion products are particularly abrasive to water pump seals and the low activity levels of old inhibitors can allow pitting of aluminum radiator surfaces and general corrosion of metals in contact with the coolant.

Beshoff Infiniti uses only Genuine Nissan L248SP Engine Coolant.   This advanced formula is ethylene glycol based and uses stat of the art technology.  L248SP Engine Coolant contains no amines or silcates which may harm water pump seals, or borates that may cause aluminum corrosion and pitting.  L248SP Engine Coolant provides long lasting protection for aluminum, cast iron and all other engine components.
