Infiniti provides three maintenance schedules listed below depending on your intended use.  Use these guidelines to determine which maintenance schedule to use:

Premium Maintenance   Every 3,750 miles or 3-months, which ever comes first
(see page 7 of Infiniti maintenance booklet for details) and is best suited to local driving conditions.  Infiniti developed the Premium Maintenance schedule for owners who want the to take optimal care and obtain the highest reliability of their cars.  It includes sensible intervals for replacement of engine oil & filter, , transmission fluid (except G37 7-speed; EX35, M35), differential fluid , transfer case fluid (AWD & 4WD), engine coolant, external drive belts, radiator cap, engine air filter, in-cabin filter and climate controlled seat filters (if equipped M35, M45).  It provides regular  brake inspection and tire rotation.

Schedule 1   Every 3,750 miles or 3-months, which ever comes first.
Features the same service frequency as the Premium Maintenance but does not include many of the items of the Premium Maintenance schedule.  The interval for engine oil & filter changes, tire rotation, in-cabin air filter replacement and comprehensive list of inspections is the same.  However the engine air filter replacement interval is 30,000 mi / 2-years vs. 12,000 mi / yearly.  Most importantly, Schedule 1 does not include replacement intervals for transmission fluid, differential oil , transfer case oil (AWD models), engine coolant, wiper blades, external drive belts, radiator cap.  These items may be suggested by the technician upon inspection at additional cost based on vehicle condition This service schedule would include all intervals in the table above.

Schedule 2    Every 7,500 miles or 6-months, which ever comes first.
The most economical option.  This schedule closely follows the replacement items and inspections of Schedule 1 but omits oil & filter changes in between services so the interval becomes 7,500 miles or 6-months, which ever comes first. This schedule would include only the service intervals highlighted in yellow in the table above

Important service items that are additional to all service schedules:
  • Infiniti does not include brake fluid replacement intervals in their schedule service.  Beshoff Infiniti recommends this important service every 2-years.
  • Spark plugs are recommended at 105,000 miles and are not included in scheduled services.
  • Alignment and balancing of wheels is not included in scheduled services.  Beshoff advises this realignment and precision tire balancing at first sign of tire wear, with new tires or every 20,000 miles which ever comes first.
