Engine Drive Belts

Replacement Interval: every 30,000 miles or 2-years as part of Infiniti Premium schedule.  Please note that Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 services do not include belt replacement at any intervals, so if you you are following Schedule 1 or 2 plans, then it should be added a-la-carte.

Drive belts are made of rubber and wear out over time, especially if they come into contact with oil. Periodic inspection is necessary to determine if drive belts need to be replaced.  The engine drives fan/drive belts to power components such as the alternator, AC compressor and power steering pump.  Some vehicles use multiple belts specific to one component (e.g. alternator belt) while others use one belt to drive all components.  If one drive belt is worn or has failed, the remaining drive belts should also be replaced. Often, drive belts are overlooked until they fail; inspection and maintenance can prevent roadside breakdowns.

Beshoff Infiniti uses only Genuine Infiniti drive belts.
