As more people turn towards Hybrid technology, Washington will continue to push automaker's to higher standards for fuel economy. In fact, regulators have already determined the next bar of fuel economy standards. One proposal that is currently being considered would raise the bar of the average fuel economy requirements to 62 MPG by the year 2025. ¹
