Infiniti Earns Two Prestigious Honors from ALG

The sense of opulence associated with Infiniti inflated at this year's 12th Annual ALG Residual Awards when the company was designated "2011 Best Luxury Brand" and the 2011 Infiniti QX56 was named "Best Luxury Fullsize Utility." In the fall of 2010, Infiniti estimated that its first-ever hybrid, the M35h, would get 25 mpg-city/30mpg-highway. They actually underestimated. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced its official ratings for the vehicle; it gets 27 mpg-city/32 mpg-highway.

That's a better rating than many of Infiniti M35h's closest competitors, including the BMW ActiveHybrid models, the Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid, and the BMW 335d diesel. Not too shabby for the automaker's first hybrid?
