2012 Infiniti M35h — Hybrid Meets Luxury

Unveiled at the L.A. Auto show in 2010 and available at Infiniti retailers nationwide in 2011, the 2012 M35h is Infiniti's first hybrid sedan. Delivering the refined power of a V8 and the fuel economy of a 4-cylinder, it stands to break ground as the first true luxury performance "driver's" hybrid.

The 2012 Infiniti M35h features the new Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid (single-motor, two-clutch) system. This system incorporates an innovative Hybrid Electric Power Steering system and Electric Driven Intelligent Brake system - both designed to reduce energy consumption and enhance overall driving experience.  Taking things one step further…

Infiniti Sells Essence Concept Sculptures

Infiniti is selling 300 copies of the Essence Concept sculpture. It's a resin casting inspired by the automaker's Essence concept car, which was unveiled last year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nissan's luxury division. The sculptures are numbered, limited editions and will be sold globally. There no plans for a production run so, now is your time to buy one.

Luxury goods maker Louis Vuitton, which also produced luggage for the Essence show vehicle, constructed a case for the first Essence Sculpture. The Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite case was hand-made at the company's workshop in France. The sculpture and case were on display at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Infiniti recently undertook a long-term effort to move up the luxury car ranks - selling collectible art is part of that program. The Essence Sculpture will run you around $300. If you want a personalized case, you'll have to order it though Louis Vuitton's special-orders workshop.

The actual Essence vehicle is a hybrid gasoline - electric car, containing Nissan's 158 bhp electric engine and a turbocharged 434 bhp V6.

Infiniti EX Blind Spot Warning System

Infiniti is making changes to their security systems in all 2011 EX (EX35) models. Owners for 2011 will have an audible and visible signal to draw attention of drivers to any other cars falling in the blind spot. When activated, as the driver goes to change lanes, a warning sound is issued if there is a possibility of risk; in other words, a vehicle in your blind spot. Infiniti expects with these added security feature, the EX GT Premium models will become even more secure.

The Blind Spot Warning is another "feather in the cap for Infiniti," joining with their Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Brake Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Prevention to enhance the Dynamic Safety Shield's capabilities further. Lane Departure Prevention will be available standard on the GT Premium's V6 model.

Infiniti's EX line continues to be powered by the a 3.5-liter DOHC V6. This engine provides 297 horsepower. Factor in that the EX weighs only 3,979 lbs, acceleration isn't far off that of the Infiniti G. Nissan's VQ engine, which this Infiniti powerplant is based on, has received much praise since its introduction. In Europe, the EX is kicked up to a 3.7-liter V6, but US audiences have to make due with 3.5, due to emissions standards.

Infiniti M35h for 2012

Infiniti unveiled its luxury 2012 M35h hybrid sedan, which holds a 350 horsepower engine and an estimated 30 mpg on the highway.

The 2012 Infiniti M35h isn't a hybrid for the every day driver - people who can make due with double-digit horsepower. It's for people who need top speed along with their hybrid tech. Mean and green.

Under the hood of M35h is the 3.5 liter V6 engine, paired to a parallel hybrid system to a single electric motor. Combined output of these two powerplants is 360 horsepower. The V6 engine provides 258 ft-lbs of torque, while…

Infiniti Hybrid - A Closer Look

Infiniti and their parent company Nissan are making huge strides when it comes to hybrid technology. But the company needs to attract attention - and they can do so by adding in a luxury angle to their green car tech. With the new Infiniti M35, the foreign auto maker might just achieve this.

The new lithium-ion battery powered Infiniti M35 hybrid won't hit US dealers market until early next year - but the Japanese counterpart is set to go on sale early December.

Compared to its gasoline powered version, M35 hybrid will double fuel economy. Nissan / Infiniti states M35 will achieve…

Infiniti Plans 3-Door Hatchback

According to a recent report, Infiniti is developing a three-door hatchback to compete with other auto makers globally, who have also introduced successful hatchbacks.

Details are limited, but Auto Car reported the coupe-like hatch will likely be based on the next-generation A-Class. Back in April, Infiniti and Mercedes signed a cooperative agreement to share platforms and engine technology.

A thinly veiled concept will debut at the Geneva Motor Show, before the production version is unveiled next fall.

M-Series from Infiniti was originally rumored to have a smaller variant as well. A coupe was also in the works, until Infiniti went…

Infiniti M37 Wins Top Luxury Award

The new and updated Infiniti M37 came off with an Excellent score in Consumer Reports' ratings, as part of a test, that featured three luxury cars, in the November issue. The Infiniti M37 remains Consumer Reports' top-rated midsized luxury sedan.

Much like the previous M, this new car delivers a great combination of performance, comfort, and luxury. The test score rated it as luxurious and quick, as well as fuel efficient.

"The Infiniti M37 combines agile handling, a taut yet comfortable ride, and a beautifully-finished interior," said David Champion, senior director of Consumer Reports' Auto Test Center in East Haddam…

Infiniti G Convertible Concept

Your local Infiniti dealer - Beshoff Infiniti - 2198 Tully Road, San Jose, CA 95122 - is turning up the heat with amazing new incentives to get you in an all new M35 or upcoming Infiniti hybrid car. What else is the foreign auto maker working on?

Infiniti has unveiled the IPL (Infiniti Performance Line) G Convertible Concept. The care is based on the new and wildly popular Infiniti G-Series Coupe.

Debuting at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the GCC features an "aggressive body kit, a sports suspension (with stiffer springs and re-calibrated dampers) and 19-inch alloy wheels."

Inside, the cabin is outfitted with KACCHU trim, black lacquer accents, and leather upholstery. Other goodies include a 13-speaker Bose audio system, GPS navigation, and heated / cooled front seats.

Power is provided by a 3.7-liter V6 engine with 333 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque. Even for an Infiniti model that's power! It enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 6 seconds, and hits a top speed of 168 mph. We suspect if the car wasn't electronically limited to that speed, it would hit a higher mark.

While the company hasn't confirmed plans for production, they are strongly hinting this Infiniti G Convertible will be green lite in the near future. Stay tuned for more on our favorite models and new concepts from Infiniti.
