Those of you who frequent the Beshoff Infiniti blog may remember our previous post about the all-new Infiniti JX crossover, which is set to hit dealerships in the spring of next year. These details came forward at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show recently, and so say that they excited us would be a massive understatement! Starting things off under the hood, we find that the new Infiniti crossover features an incredible 3.5-liter V6 engine with 265 ponies to unleash. It also boasts a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and electronic controls for performance adjustment. More specifically, the vehicle's drivetrain can switch between four active modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Snow.

Moving thing inside, we find that the JX crossover's interior is roomy and plus, with leather upholstery and seating for seven passengers. And, while the second row of seating is on rails to allow those in the far back to have adequate leg room, the seats don't have to slide forward in order to allow access. This is thanks to the vehicle's elongated doors, which free up space for occupants to enter the third row, without tilting the seats forward.

Aside from performance and comfort, Infiniti also spent a lot of time on entertainment and convenience in the JX crossover as well. For instance, the company offers five different packages for the JX when it launches, and each of them offer something to take the owner's enjoyment of the vehicle to the next level. Such amenities range from wirless headphones and dual seven-inch monitors to an AroundView monitor system and navigation package.

How much will this level of luxury cost? Infiniti has started pricing at a very approachable $41,300. From there, the additional packages will add more value onto the vehicle.
