What do you do?

I am a senior at SJSU majoring in Accounting. I also work part-time at UPS. The downside is my work hours are 10pm-3am every weekday, hence I am always deprived of sleep. My friends tell me that several years down the road I will look a lot older than I really am; if I continue this way. I hope to move on to a more "normal" lifestyle after graduation.

Why did you choose the G37S Coupe?

When I was in the market for a new car in 2008, I was looking at the IS350, 335i, TL-S, STi, Evo-X and of course G37S coupe. I picked the G coupe because it strikes the perfect balance between tuner vs. class, performance vs. comfort, price vs. luxury, technology vs. reliability. And most importantly of course, the G coupe looks the best!

Who / What are have been your influences in tuning?

In fact, this is my first nice car I've owned and also the first car I started modding. To me modifying is like making a personal statement on who I am. It is like with clothes there are many different styles and fashion. With cars, there is a variety too. Tuner, Classy, VIP, Refined, Aggressive. I always feel that modding is unique to personal tastes and it should stay this way. As long as you like how it looks, it is your car, you can do whatever you want with it. Don't be influenced by negative feedbacks or bandwagon fallacy, but follow your heart and customize your own vehicle.

Tell us about your mods

I started with wheels and suspension mods namely: KW V3 coilover, 20" Volk GT30 rims, Project Kics R40 lugs & locks, SPC rear camber kit and Stillen sway bars.

Next I moved on to appearance mods: FormulaOne window tints, JP Vizage front lip & side strikers, Bluebatmobile GTR style tailight overlays, Burnout eyelids, 3000K HID fogs, 8000K headlights and LED'out all lights. Just recently, I replaced my JP lip kit with the AIT-TS front & side lip kit.

I left the performance mods to the end and so far I only have HKS Hi-power catback exhaust and Blackbetty's v2 grounding kit.

What's the next upgrade?

I am looking into more performance mods at the moment: MXP RTP's and Stillen Gen3 CAI. Hopefully.

Why is Beshoff Infiniti your dealer?

Customer Service, Price, Quality, Reputation and Mod friendly. Beshoff has all of the above, second to none! And best of all, it is just 15mins drive down from where I live. I am fortunate, but even if I live 50 miles away I will still choose to come here simply because it is the best.

What the strangest/funniest/coolest thing someone has said about your car?

When I first got the car it was my baby. I took great care of it and was really paranoid at every little thing that can potentially hurt my baby. Very soon, my girlfriend got "jealous"... She said, "why do you care about your car more than you care about me!". It wasn't funny in the slightest. I soon realized it is only a car afterall. Don't baby it too much and drive it if you have to drive it! I still take good care of it but I learned that there are many more important things in life.

Are you involved in the local Infiniti scene?

Yes, I know most other G37 enthusiasts in the Bay Area. We are a very close group and hang out quite often (regularly). We have grown to become close friends and to anyone wanting to join us, you are always welcome!

One last question- What kind of president would Sarah Palin make?

Though I haven't been following politics as closely as I would like to, I would like to think that the outcome will not be very favorable... Let's just say that Ms. Palin reminds me of Ms. South Carolina of Miss Teen 2007 (laughter).
